PALM SUNDAY 2025 CELEBRATED BY DARCHAWI LOCAL EFCI

Palm Sunday Celebration – Darchawi EFCI Church | April 13, 2025

The Palm Sunday Programme started off with the children's grand procession, happily waving palm branches and singing Hosanna! Blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord!"* Celebration filled the air, echoing the cries once heard by the crowds in Jerusalem. It was a strong reminder of what the day represented and the humility of our Savior.

Palm Sunday 2025 was a day that was truly filled with joy and remembrance at Darchawi EFCI Church,  as we came together on April 13th to celebrate Jesus' victorious entry into Jerusalem. What made this year even more special was that the whole program of proclaiming JESUS Victorious day was led by the children of our NSSD from Darchawi GFM Campus to throughout the village of Darchawi and then making back an entry to the church, bringing energy, faith, and innocence to the sanctuary by shouting out with top of their voices saying : "Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord, Hosanna".

During the service the children presented a beautiful lineup of songs. Their voices lifted up praises that touched every heart present. here is the video link:

The Palm Sunday message was delivered by Rev. Lalroihlua on the theme of "The Lord needs it" , reminding us all of the significance of real worship and the need to welcome Jesus not only into the city, but into our hearts daily and to humble ourselves to the Lord.

We are so proud of our children and thankful to the Sunday School teachers, volunteers, and parents and as well as the whole congregation who instructed and supported them. They did more than act—they ministered, and their simplicity and honesty portrayed the Kingdom of God in the most exquisite manner.

As a church, we were again reminded that faith knows no age and children's voices can proclaim God's glory as powerfully as any sermon.

Let us still make ourselves ready to enter Holy Week, with the same joy and awe that the children shared with us.

Hosanna in the highest!
