The Long Lost Unity

The Long Lost Unity

Beneath the stars where whispers blend,
There once was a bond no time could rend.
Hearts entwined, a common song,
A world where all could belong.

Rivers flowed with unspoken grace,
  Bridges spanned each daunting space.
Hand in hand, through storm and light,
We kindled hope to chase the night.

But shadows crept, and walls arose,
Seeds of division the wind now sows.
Voices splintered, dreams undone,
The unity faded, one by one.

Where once a garden thrived and grew,
Now lies a land of muted hue.
The ties that held us, frayed, forgot,
Lost to greed, to fear, to rot.

Yet still the earth beneath our feet,
Holds the echo, soft and sweet.
A memory etched in ancient stone,
A whisper calling us back home.

For unity is never gone,
It lies in hearts where love is strong.
A spark, a hand, a kindred call,
Can heal the wounds, unite us all.

Let us mend what time has torn,
And forge anew what once was sworn.
Beneath the stars, let’s rise as one,
Long lost unity, our battle won.
